This is one of the most frustrating puzzles in the game, due to the simple fact that you'll be starting at the correct pair the entire time and still won't manage to see it. All you have to do is find the two matching butterflies in each set. This will result in a scroll appearing on the screen. Click on the big wooden box on the right hand side of the sink stand and input the correct symbols. This should send out a burst of steam from the sink and leave a message on the mirror that will contain two random shapes. use the lever on the dot and attach the piece of pipe to the uh. Inside is a broken pipe and a small red dot that looks suspiciously like the lever you have. Next, there is a small metal plate on the side of the bath which is looked. The piece of pipe you need is easy to find, and is the curved piece just below where you broke of the lever. Click it once to turn it off, and then a second time to pick it up and put it in your inventory. The lever type object is the small red thing on the pipe on the left hand side of the room. First, check out the bathtub for the stray hairpin. This is the second hidden object puzzle of the chapter. Once the picture has been revealed it will transform into a number, which you can then put into a combination look that automatically pops up, giving you a scroll page. The easiest thing to do is to use each colour one at a time until you find the first one in the sequence and then combine it with any red dots you may have come across and finish up with any untried colours until you find the code. On the note pad, a cross means the colour is not used at all, a red dot means the colour is used, but is in the wrong order, and a green tick means that the colour is used and is in the right place. The idea is to find the correct code via a process of elimination. ChemicalsĪ version of the board game Mastermind, sometimes called Codebreaker. Once it is solved, you will recieve scroll number two. The position of the tiles is always random however, so there is no right or wrong way to go about solving this. You can swap any two adjacent horizontal or vertical tiles in order to put the picture back together. This is a slide puzzle game, only without the traditional blank space which makes it a lot easier. Use the key you just found on it, and we have our first scroll of chapter one. This will reveal a hidden panel in the wall in which sits a fancy looking box with a key hole. Next click on the clock on the right hand wall, and adjust the hands of it accordingly. Pick up the match and strike it on the match-box, then use it to set the paper alight. If you click on it to zoom in, and then click again it will say "it seems we need to do something with this paper.". Under the desk is a blank piece of paper. The key is hidden in a book on the right hand side of the lowest bookshelf. Second look on the left hand side of the desk next to the small statue for the match box. First, look in the waste paper basket for the match. The game with give you some on screen instructions first, and then we can get into finding the needed objects. This is the first hidden object type puzzle of the game. In total, chapter one gives you a total time limit of 35 minutes to complete all the pages within it. Click on the book on the desk when instructed and you will find yourself in chapter one. Follow these and you will soon find yourself in a study-like area. When you first start, you will be given various instructions and hints on screen.
